A lovely good night story to y'all!

Enjoy and learn!

Getting to IG

As I have mentioned previously, I am working my way up the JCI Trainer career path and certification. I have now finished the documentation for the training Active Listening, and I have uploaded it to JCI for review.

If the training and the materials are accepted, I will be granted the next level of my JCI Training certification ladder and become an International Graduate. Being accredited International Graduate show my commitment to JCI, and my experience in conducting trainings in different languages, cultures and countries.

I am curious. I am impatient. I am terrified. What if they turn me down? What if my training is not "good enough"? At least I will know soon, so I can move from the mental state of uncertainty into the state of knowing.

Special request from JCI Australia - do you have any suits and dresses you could spare?

I just received a special request from JCI Australia, they are collecting suits and dresses for victims of the fires. If you have some suitable clothes, please consider sending them.

The request:

Hi all,

Apologies if you're receiving this and are too far away to help immediately!

I've been sent a rather special request. And one that we should be able to help with as young business professionals.

Mission
Australia is looking for people willing to give up a suit or two and
donating them to people who will be attending multiple funerals in the
coming weeks.

If you have any spare suits that you would like to donate, they can be dropped off/sent to reception at:
Mission Australia
Level 2, 398 Lonsdale St, Melbourne

You could even courier/ExpressPost them to this address as long as they get there by Friday 10am

If you can make sure they're clean, so much the better.

For
anyone interstate, I’m sure Mission Australia would be able to tell you
where to drop off to them in order to get them to Melbourne.

And now I’m off to raid our wardrobes…

B

Thank you for caring, and please consider helping these victims!

Training at the JCI European Conference 2009

I just received some great news! I have been selected to do one of my own trainings at the JCI Europe Conference 2009 , taking place in Budapest, Hungary June 10 to 14.

This is a great honor to me, and a great achievement that I have worked towards since 2006.

The training that has been accepted is the Active Listening training,  my JCI International Graduate application. And you can join by attending the conference with more than 2000 others!
